Start your adventure in tech with us! It is time for our residents to level up and join the innovation economy. Allapattah Startups has an ambitious goal of helping start 50 new tech startups in the neighborhood. We are ready to help YOU build something great.
Program Highlights
Technical Certification - Coursera's 8-month online course will certify you as a full-stack web developer
Business Training - Allapattah CDC's training will prepare you to launch your new tech business
Financial Support - We will provide you a stipend to cover for the care of your family during the hours of study!
Academic Support - You will have a weekly study group session with a tutor to make sure you get all the help you need
Job search help- In addition to the course work, participants will have access to a step-by-step job search guide.
Networking opportunities- Professional Certificate alumni, will have access to a nationwide network of fellow professionals.
Big Interview- 1-year free access to Big Interview (a $950 value) with resume builder and mock interview preparation.

To qualify for the scholarship program, candidates must be:

$250 deposit ($500 refund upon completion of the technical training portion)
