Allapattah CDC has worked hard in conjunction with the Fire Department and Miami-Dade County to request an emergency declaration from the United States Business Administration. We are pleased to inform you that the SBA approved this declaration and as a result we have the SBA “Business Recovery Center” available for Tropicana business owners from August 18-25, 2022.

Small businesses affected by the Tropicana Flea Market fire on July 7th may now apply for low-interest Economic Injury Disaster Loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration. These loans will help affected businesses meet working capital needs caused by the

disaster. They can apply on-line at:

Help us assist the families affected by the fire at Tropicana Flea Market on Thursday, July 7th, 2022, in Miami, FL. These mom & pop businesses lost their means to earn a dignified living with their small businesses. These funds will be used to assist these families in surpassing this tragic event where they lost equipment, merchandise and their place of work. Many of these families depended solely on this commercial activity to support their families. We thank you in advance for any contribution, as it would help to alleviate the significant material losses caused by the fire.
